I was less than a novice in 2023 when I decided to tackle a project well above my skill level and was so fortunate to have found Jason Evans and the team at Sheridan Road Lumber… Patience on top of patience along with great advice in helping decide what was needed, how much, options, etc… Then providing the material at a fair price helped me and my wife to become SRL fans… Sure we might save a few cents here n there shopping at one of the big box stores but GREAT Customer Service Beats a few cents saved here and there… Also, SRL carries lumber in stock the big stores might be able to order but at SRL I pick the lumber I need rather than “take it or leave it “… So, If you like Great Customer Service, Fair Prices and People who care, try Sheridan Road Lumber for your next project!!

I haven't been here in years. It is amazing to see that the same level of exceptional service has continued after all of these years. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Additionally, the value of the product was great for the cost. It was actually considerably cheaper then a shorter board from one of the big box stores, who didn't actually sell what I needed. So, in conclusion, more material, for less money, and better service. Don't argue with me, go there.

This place is Amazing and filled with great people and good ole family style service ! No one trying to sell you this or that ....Nothing but straight shooters here. I've been buying my building materials here for the last 25 years and Highly reccomend them. They will go above and beyond to help you solve any problems you may have .....you definitely can't get that kind of service from any of the Box stores .

I went looking for help with a deck rebuild. Needed to know beam spans in particular. I was told to replace the beam exactly as it was built. I knew that it was built incorrectly and told them that was the problem. Then I was told to get a carpenter. I don't know if it was because I am a woman or because I am not a professional but the guy didn't seem to want to do business with me. I drove from there to another well known lumber yard on north University. Was given all the help I needed with a smile. Have done a lot of business with Sheridan but don't think I will go back. By the way, my husband calls me "Norm" as in "This Old House" because I love building projects.

They had what I needed in stock. They were helpful, friendly and courteous. Oh, and they were very patient helping me to figure out what I needed in the first place!
