Two of our friends have been very happy with their Sherman buildings so choosing Sherman was easy. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and willing to help. Robin was quick and helpful when we had questions and changes. Beth was very friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. Jeff came out to make sure the building was placed in the right spot on our pad. I can't say enough about Ed and his crew. They were out there in less than favorable conditions. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with Sherman for our cabin project. Since we were new to using steel for siding and roofing, we really appreciated how patient they were in educating us on the materials and the process. They don’t do "cookie-cutter" work; these are high-quality, custom homes built to handle extreme MN weather. The communication was excellent throughout—they were always available by phone and quick to reply to emails. What really stood out was their relationship with their subcontractors; most have worked together for 20+ years, and that synergy shows on the job site. What started off as a fun purchase for me turned into a mess within the first 7 months of owning the building. There were some frustrations at first with communication. You must reach out multiple times to get a quote, get a response for changes etc. Should have been my first clue to go elsewhere. I however know two people with their buildings and they were somewhat happy so I proceeded. The worst is their customer service when you have an issue. I will elaborate further down. Building crew was good, started on time and finished within the stated time. However they dropped hammers or something heavy from the rafters. We couldn’t say enough good things about our experience with Sherman Buildings. From start to finish, we were so impressed with everyone on their team. The communications was great. They arrived when they said, and were always willing to answer any questions we had along the way. Isaac was our foreman. He and the whole crew were amazing.
