Shine Pools

I was originally with a different pool company that transferred my service to Shine Pools. Unfortunately, the quality has been disappointing from the start. The photos attached were taken just three hours after the pool was supposedly cleaned—you can clearly see dirt on the steps and debris still floating in the water. It’s especially frustrating and embarrassing when my son has home swim lessons and the pool is in this condition. Service was rocky from the beginning, and while there were issues with wasps for a time, I can’t help but feel that may have been used as an excuse for ongoing poor maintenance. Now that the wasps are no longer a factor, there’s little justification for the lack of attention and care. This is not the standard I expect for professional pool service. Addendum:

We’ve used Shine Pools for several years, both at our rental homes and primary residence. They’ve been great to work with, always accommodating schedules to the best of their ability and providing excellent communication (texts when arriving, leaving, and details/pictures of service). Quality service with repairs, when needed. Highly recommend!

We have been using Shine pools for over 2 years now and I highly, highly recommend them. No unnecessary treatments, or attempts to upsell. Plus, Terrance is always upbeat, easy to communicate with, and super respectful.

Disappointed with Shine Pools. They consistently mismanaged our pool chemicals, including allowing cyanuric acid (CYA) to reach 300 ppm and chlorine levels to hit 18 ppm—without ever warning us that the pool was unsafe to swim in. Despite these dangerous levels being documented, they never recommended a drain or took corrective action. We only discovered the severity of the issue after switching to a new provider, who immediately flagged the problems. When we contacted Shine Pools to address the situation, they took no responsibility. Poor service, poor communication, and zero accountability.

Our service has always been great. Our pool technician is very polite and keeps us informed of any potential problems. Love the text report after each service and the billing is very easy. Highly recommend
