Shine Star Flooring

Shine Star is amazing! The team removed vinyl floor and carpet throughout our 100 year old home and beautifully restored the wood that had been hidden beneath. We had a few surprises along the way and they were quick to provide quotes and knew how to fix everything. For instance, some of our inlay details were in real bad shape and they replaced them so beautifully you can’t tell which are the original or the replaced. Our stairs, hidden under carpet, were in such bad shape they actually had to replace them. The new risers and runs are gorgeous. We also stained the floor throughout and the everyone was so patient and provided me samples as I worked through the stain color options. They also touched up our stained trim on the first floor. After redoing the hardwood and vinyl floors, our home has transformed and looks amazing. I particularly enjoyed that Celso gave honest opinions as we chose the finishes and decide how to modify the stairs. We will definitely use this service in the future and would highly recommend this service to anyone.

I’m writing with the highest possible recommendation for Shine Star. Our project completed yesterday after the team worked 6 consecutive days, gave me Sunday off, and then came back Monday for finishing touches and a walkthrough. The job was to replace original floors from 1906 that presented a number of challenges, some of which other vendors bidding the work told would not be possible to address. Specifically meeting the new tile kitchen floor on level, without a transition. (If you have not already done a partial job on a single level of your home, do it all at once!
