Showplace Cabinetry

I would not recommend showplace cabinets, we purchased through a reputable company and I have got nothing but the run around about cabinet stained doors showing white lines in the winter months. It is 7 door fronts out of over 30. They were not properly stained, now that it’s warmer out you do not see these the lines, so I guess I’m suppose to look at white lines a couple months a year on 25,000 cabinets. Cabinets were replaced by 20 year old stained cherry cabinets that I never had a problem with. Showplace cabinets have been in my house for less than a year and supposedly showplace rep saying this is not a warranty issue. Disappointed consumer, see pictures:

We recently had a tour of the showplace cabinetry factory. Ashleigh, Jeremy, and the rest of the crew gave us an exceptional tour of how they make their cabinets. As an employer showplace really focuses on taking care of their employees. The range of cabinets that they make is impressive. They’re even breaking into outdoor cabinets. Would highly recommend anyone searching for, a remodel to give them a call. They are so nice, I will recommend them to anyone.

ABSOLUTELY BEWARE! I installed painted cabinets in May 2021. By Feb 2022 they were chipping. Ever since, have been trying to work with the supplier and Showplace's rep to understand and rectify the issue. And the problems are getting MUCH worse. The paint literally will peel off if you use gentle painter's tape or even run your soft finger over an edge. It looks as if my cabinets are 20 years old and I am an extremely light user of my kitchen. My contractor and Showplace's own painter who assessed the situation agree it is adhesion problem. But Showplace keeps coming up with one excuse after another for not having any responsibility. Everyone loves to post reviews immediately after installation when they are in the "honeymoon" phase. We have had these cabinets in our kitchen for just over three years now which we feel is enough time to give an honest, unbiased, review. The quality and look of the cabinets has been outstanding! We recently had a customer support need and the response was immediate and helpful. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice to have Showplace cabinets in our home.

I bought and had installed in 2016, Showplace cabinetry- white painted cabinets around the perimeter and stained wood cabinets on the island. The painted cabinets started to pucker, stain, yellow within 5-6 months of them being installed. Seams on the side panels also pushed the paint finish up and cause a ridge of bubbled paint. Today, I sit, 5 years later and Showplace's response has been less than honorable or representative of their "lifetime warranty". The rep pushes all issues back to me- you cook too much, you have too much humidity in your house (I have wood windows, floors, sills, etc- none which have any issues and I live in St. Louis- not the capital of humidity). They try and say I clean them too much or not enough, I clean them wrong because they are not dried complet
