SMART CARE

I have never experienced such an utterly frustrating and unprofessional company. Working with Smart Care is an absolute nightmare.  They repeatedly scheduled appointments and simply never showed up and claimed I wasn't on the schedule. On multiple occasions, I cleared my schedule, stayed home all day, and canceled other plans for them, only for them to fail to arrive. Their “arrival windows” are laughably broad—between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM—and completely meaningless. After they screwed up appointments multiple times I started recording the calls. I requested to talk to a manager who told me someone wouldn't schedule an appointment for the next day and accidentally mentioned they do record their calls so I gave her the exact time of the call and asked her to go listen. No follow up from her.

Samsung itself was extremely difficult to deal with but they finally approved the out of warranty repair at no charge, for my fridge’s ice maker. They use a local company called Smart Care, who was both polite and courteous, and the technician Jonathan showed up on time and did a meticulous repair while also explaining the flaw with the original ice maker’s design, which required it to be located in the warmer refrigerator compartment instead of the freezer. This is what was causing the problems. So now, it’s like having a brand new fridge again. Thanks Jonathan!

First, I want to thank Jonathan! From Smartcare I can't say enough good things about this guy. He actually had to come out twice. Both times he called ahead and was very pleasant to speak with. He was always happy and helpful. The first time he came out was a few days after I got my fridge. I was missing a leveling foot and then the other side of the bottom of the fridge collapsed. The problem wasn't something one person could handle, because they needed to lay the fridge down. To be honest I wasn't happy with the product and wanted a replacement rather than have ongoing issues. He told me Samsung is pretty good about that stuff and reassured me. I have a Samsung washer (yes, I knew better) that sprung a leak on the high cycle. It took 2 trips to figure out the issue but Jonathan finally fixed the issue. There was a leak in the outer drum....I thought it was a hose. After breaking the machine down (he was determined - first time I saw the inside of a front loader) the leak was found. The part was order and on the 3rd trip...no more leak!!! I SWEAR I was about to johnny Knoxville Jackass that machine! Johnathan was very thorough and gave me a few pointers on preventative maintenance and usage tips (I always leave the door open but he recommended the dispenser too).
