Rich was recommended, but I did get another quote from a larger co that was significantly higher. He gave us a fair price. Rich did an amazing job and his work is impeccable. He was able to replace water damaged sheathing and support studs in several places. He also fixed a long time leak. His knowledge and skill are outstanding and Rich can adjust as he goes if needed. The siding looks fantastic, all lights remounted on fabricated blocks and the gutters were remounted with better pitch to keep water flowing properly to downspout. Ala in all, Rich was a pleasure to work with and we are ecstatic with the results.

On Cape Cod, it can be difficult to find builders who know what they are doing and are also responsive, professional, thorough and fairly priced. Richard at Smarter Home is all of those things. We are thrilled with the outcome of our deck project - it's built with extreme attention to detail and precision - solid and stable, practical and functional, and looks beautiful. Richard brought new life to an old deck that needed to be overhauled, expanded and made ready to stand up the the worst weather Cape Cod can offer. We can't say enough about the quality of Richard's work and how easy it was to do business with him. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give our new deck, and Smarter Home a "15".

Richard DeNardo of Smarter Home Inc did a great job with our house. He replaced every window, wrapped the house, wrapped the trim, and installed vinyl siding. The whole project came out much cheaper than the bids I got from major window installers and contractors that focus on traditional building techniques. The house also looks and feels more weather tight than before. Richard also took care of approval from the historic district and permitting. I'd advise anyone in need of exterior work to get in touch with Richard of Smarter Home Inc.

We had Richard install replacement windows, and re side our home earlier this year. We couldn’t be happier with the work that he did. He’s honest, trustworthy, reliable and he does great work. I can't say enough about how great it was to have found Richard to renovate our old house on the Cape. It was in pretty bad shape and needed lots of work - siding, roof, windows, and a bunch of other stuff to get it back in shape. Richard was amazing.
