Pictures paint a thousand words. This is a warning to anyone planning on selling their timber to this company. The owner is horrible to deal with and after filing a claim in small claims court, I finally got paid. They will come in and destroy your land, trees and pick species that weren't marked for cutting. I closed this operation after 2 days!!! They did so much damage to trees, roads and property. I'll let you decide if you ever want to proceed with them after seeing the photos. BEWARE OF THIS SHADY OPERATION!

***BEWARE*** Smith Timbering destroyed two of our family properties. Their idea of a select cut is actually a clear cut! They will destroy your property and bulldoze 25+ trees to get to just 1. Our thick forest was supposed to have just 16” or larger trees of a few varieties. Instead they took 95-98% of all trees and left what most have described as mass devastation. It looks like a tornado went through. They destroyed our ATV roads and left trees on the ground everywhere making the roads impassible. They left large mounds of dirt everywhere some being 15-20 feet high with their huge earthmoving equipment. They will then ghost you and refuse to communicate with you again.
