I went in today to get a part for my kitchen sink. After standing in line for 10 minutes without anyone even looking in my direction, I started to wonder what was going on. When the customer behind me was greeted and I was ignored, I ended up leaving. I don’t know who taught these people customer service skills, but ignoring people who are actively trying to give you money is not how you stay in business. I went up the street to Home Depot and was greeted instantly and helped right away. I’m not sure if the people at Smithfield plumbing are oblivious or rude but I’m OK without finding out I’ll take my business elsewhere

Unprecedented service and attention. Alex Woodie went above and beyond to help our family when we arrived home from vacation to no hot water! He was efficient and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the warranty company stepped up and Alex had to work through canceling the order. Even through that he was professional, understanding, and timely. My hot water expansion tank rusted out, causing a leak which forced me to turn off all water to my house (due to where the tank was placed on my incoming water line, and the nearest shutoff valve). Watched some DIY videos on YouTube, and then headed to Smithfield Plumbing Supply to buy the parts (Expansion Tank, and Water Pressure gauge). Two gentlemen there went over the replacement process with me, assuring me that everything I had just learned on YouTube was accurate. They gave the confidence to return home and finish the job. Great service, and knowledge!!

Great customer service by knowledgeable staff who help home DIY and business alike. Spent 4 trips back and forth to HD with no one to help. One trip to Smithfield Plumbing and they helped me find a solution in 10 minutes and for under $20.
