I had a terrible experience renting here. When I reached out to management to ask about options for ending my lease early due to unforseen circumstances (politely and with willingness to pay for the remaining months), Jessica Stroscheim responded incredibly unprofessionally, using all caps and even threatening to charge me for "administrative time" if I ever contacted them again. I am well within my rights as a WA state tenant to inquire for more information, and I did so very kindly and respectfully. Other tenants, including a previous roommate, had similar issues about attitude from management. If you do choose to rent here, document everything. There are plenty of other complexes with far kinder and more respectful staff.

Smoots is now First Choice Property Management and they are awful to rent with! They have raised rent twice in 4 months for an increase of 55%. In total over 3 years they have almost doubled my rent. With all that extra money there are zero amenities even though the price is now similar to complexes with gyms, pet areas, etc. Instead we just get overflowing dumpsters and most complaints are met with a very hostile "Don't like it, move! We can rent your unit today." Good luck Smooots, driving out dependable tenants to gamble on new tenants is going to cost you in the long run.
