Chris, the owner, is, simply put, a magician. I first hired him to revamp my dilapidated porch which he did in a meticulous, yet methodical manner. After I gave him my budget, he handled the entire project soup to nuts. My porch is now just like new. Chris wears the hat of at least three people, contractor, purchaser, and builder. He is 100% reliable and extremely detail minded. The second project I hired him for was a complete tear down and rebuild of my 35 year old chimney which was totally rotted out and so bad that even the termites were afraid of it. We were eager to finally replace the handrail on our 1916 historic home from the wrought iron that was not historically appropriate. Chris was the only one who saw our vision and was able to execute it to perfection. We are beyond thrilled with the result and many have commented that it looks like it’s always been there! It’s solid as a rock. We didn’t hesitate to call him when we needed a privacy fence designed and built. It was a quirky project that I doubted anyone would want or be able to figure out. Chris was a miracle worker. He designed a solution that not only looks beautiful but fits in to the existing structures seamlessly, and again it’s solid as a rock. We feel very privileged to have Chris in our back pocket for any carpentry projects we may have in future.

We had Chris from Snohomish Custom Carpentry do quite a bit of work on our property this summer. First off he designed and built a fantastic, elegant and sturdy deck in our back yard. Made of Timber tech material this thing is a beauty. We get lots of compliments from our friends how sharp it is. After we had such a great experience with Chris as projects came up like replacing our internal and external doors we knew we could trust him. He is definitely a fair and ethical carpenter. He did not seek shortcuts and his personal standards on completing the job exceeds other contractors by a mile. If you need any carpentry work done Chris is the guy to call. Highly recommend.

Wells built us a beautiful and sturdy new front porch complete with picture frame, metal railing, and hidden fasteners. The end result has a nice high end look without the price tag. Thoughtful attention to detail and joinery not commonly seen. Easy to work with, highly recommend
