We recently hired Solomon Electric for electrical work in Hollywood, Florida and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about them. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and professional electrician in South Florida, this is the company to call. From the very beginning, they were amazing to work with - responsive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. What really stood out to us was how transparent they were with pricing. They gave us options that fit our budget, and they even helped us with financing which made the whole process much easier and stress-free. I had Lance and Louis work on my new house, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. This was not a simple job — I had a long list of things that needed to be addressed: switches that didn’t work, ceiling fans that needed to be moved, and a lot of general streamlining to get the house functioning the way it should. On top of that, I’m in the middle of managing multiple projects for a newly purchased home, so there were a lot of moving parts and decisions happening at once. Lance was exceptional from start to finish. He took the time to really understand what I wanted, communicated clearly, and came by multiple times just to check in and make sure everything was on track and that I felt comfortable with what was being done. They came and did the work well with no drama. It was a pretty complicated situation we inherited with our new home where the electrical boxes were sticking out about five inches from the wall. They were able to move the cables around and get it smooth where I can add drywall back and it look like a normal wall. This was a hard job and they got it done with an optimistic, can do attitude which I loved. Two operational improvements that would make this a 5 star are…1. Include the drywall repair (due to cutting walls to access electricity) as part of the service and 2. I had to call many times to get the physical quote to align with what the technician verbally said to me. This was time consuming and caused a delay over a day and a half.
