Terrible experience with this company! They don't take calls and use an answering service. Wasted 1.5 hours of my time trying to deal with this nonsense!

Absolutely the WORST subcontractor EVER!!! Cody Pools, you should be ASHAMED of yourselves for using this vendor. Not only RUDE, DISGUSTING, VULGAR personnel, but blatantly violating water consumption and pollution regulations with the debris they were leaving in the street. And 12 straight hours of noise pollution. And the representative on site is a walking liability. Probably illegal, most likely criminal, and THREATENED ME with my safety. Calling police and County Inspectors. Shame shame shame on you and your seedy business practices.

After getting quotes from JR Plastering, Azteca Gunite, Houston Gunite, and Modern Method Gunite, I settled on South Bay, and I am so grateful I did. I cannot explain in words how impressed I am with Alfredo and his team. They went out of their way to ensure I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the job, and the work they did was top notch. Also, the price Alfredo quoted me was the price I paid, and on an expensive project like a pool build, that is very much appreciated. If you want the best gunite work, performed by skilled professionals, at a reasonable price, then South Bay is the only name you need to know. We have a South Bay Gunite in our pool. We have 7 cracks in it. They sent a floor covering company out to do our repair. The owner won’t return calls or prioritize our problems just pushing us off

My car was hit by one of their driver's and they will not take responsibility for his actions. They are avoiding making contact with the insurance company to try and get out of being liable.
