South Jersey Weed Control

I had used South Jersey Weed for years at my previous home and was very happy with them. When we bought our new house my husband set up a new contract with them. Last year they did a great job. This year not so much. In the spring when I called to express my concerns the owner gave me the excuse of the rain. She also gave me an attitude that I did not appreciate. I'm still having an issue with weeds. We made the mistake of paying them in full. I haven't seen the little white flags that indicate that they have sprayed in over a month. I paid $320.00 for the season and have nothing but weeds to show for it.

**UPDATE** After learning they had a personal loss, the owner offered us a partial refund and to send the technician out again. He came by, apologized, and set out to service the backyard. He had originally not known we had a backyard to do, which is plausible with how our property is laid out. He performed the service. He had done the driveway previously, which was weed free. I am updating the review to reflect the situation. My advice is to be patient and if you can talk to your technician to explain what it so be done. Updating to 4 stars from 1 start. Used them last year, and had a weed free yard. Paid for the seasonal service this year and they never did our backyard. This company is absolutely awesome. The office workers are very knowledgeable and are very patient with the questions I had for them! The young man who sprayed my yard for pests this past summer was amazing and I didn't have to worry about a single tick on my dogs this past summer! Just signed up for this upcoming season! Would highly recommend to anyone who asks

I had a very disappointing experience with South Jersey Weed Control. They claimed to have sprayed for bugs at my property, but my Ring camera shows no movement in the front yard during the time they were supposedly here. The truck was parked outside my home for only about 10 minutes. When we called to resolve the issue, technician stated that he entered and exited the backyard through one side gate and sprayed the entire area. However, my backyard requires access from two different sides of the house in order to reach all areas. If he truly did this, he would have had to open two more gates and walk directly past my patio doors—where I was sitting with my dogs—and I never saw him. There is no way the entire yard was sprayed, and when I asked for proof of service, none was provided. Base

Well the pictures advertised pretty much look like my property after treatment, lol. Called them only to get the runaround almost to the point that I was the wrong! Always an excuse, didn't have the issue last year but they pretty much dropped the ball this year. Guaranteed they will not be doing service for us come next year. Note: companies usually stick up a sign for advertising but given the looks of the weeds everywhere it's probably not a bad thing to post signage identifying who is responsible for the poor work.
