Hugo exceeded my expectations and his attention to detail and follow-up is a rare find these days with any home project. He came out to walk the project, provide ideas and options for our stone pathways and landscaping options. They showed up the NEXT day to start work and the timeline was almost exactly as projected (some rain impaired work which was out of their control). I 1000% recommend Hugo and South Landscaping for all of your outdoor hardscape and landscaping dreams!!

Hugo and his team did an excellent job on our backyard pool project. We worked together over the course of an extensive nine month project which included retaining wall installation, landscaping design, pool deck construction, landscape lighting and drainage solutions. We are very happy with the outcome and have even chosen to use South Landscaping for weekly yard maintenance. I would whole heartedly recommend Hugo and his extremely hardworking and skillful team.

I chose South Landscape for my small driveway extension (using paver blocks) based upon the overwhelmingly positive reviews here, and upon Hugo's professionalism when he quoted the job. They added a small pad to "park" the trash bins, and Hugo repurposed my flat stones (from a failed DIY attempt) into a stepping stone walkway in the back yard. I am completely satisfied, and be wholeheartedly recommend South Landscape!

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience. Follow-up after monies were paid was non-existent. Trees planted by South Lanscaping in my backyard were all loosely set. Thus, wind pushed them down. Hugo promised to fix them, in writing, but never showed-up. He repeatedly told me he was coming, but there was no sign of him. Very disappointing! I feel the job was not completed correctly and my money taken for mediocre quality workmanship. I had to pay someone else to fix this problem. In fact, I might have to pay for two new trees to be planted.
