Very helpful staff. They had most of what I needed. They didn't stock my " not standard size " plumbing adapter and the staff member recommended another plumbing supply company in town. I'm definitely returning to South Salem Ace hardware for my other winterizing needs

10/10 Customer service. Everyone here is helpful AND knowledgeable. Shout-out to Ann Marie for always going above and beyond. Prices are higher than their competitors for most items, but what you get in terms of legitimate help and knowledge from the people who work here is worth the cost. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful. Today is not the first day I have had a fantastic experience there, but it’s the first review. Today I brought in some pictures of a problem I had and the staff suggested a fix to try that didn’t require me to purchase anything. And it fixed the issue. I won’t go anywhere else.

Review is for the resharp sharpening service. I can only reccomend it for cleavers. Does fine on the straight part of the knife, but does not sharpen last 3 inches of a typical butcher knife profile. Now I get to pay for a sharpening and sharpen my knife myself.

Very clean and organized store. They always seem to have whatever I am needing. Staff are very knowledgeable helpful and friendly. They also process online orders quickly.
