Southeast Restoration

Short story — Don’t hire them for any design changes. Stick to straight up repairs. Long story — We had a mold remediation issue that turned out to be huge and traumatic. Southeast came in after the three other contractors were involved in resolving the issues. The first job we had them do was insulation, drywall, picture box trim, and paint. This was done fine. Work was fast (a little sloppy according to my husband so be sure to check the work). Second project was building out the fireplace surround. We went through three cabinet makers with Southeast before we even got to start: one retired, one had a medical issue, and one did poor work elsewhere and they didn’t want us to use them. Our project manager, Sam Foster, did a fine job with our restoration process and provided valuable guidance to us throughout the entire process. He was very friendly and took personal ownership over all the deliverables that were important to us. He worked with the flooring, drywall, and plumber folks in order to get everything completed exactly on the schedule that Southeast committed to. I would recommend Southeast Restoration, and Sam in particular, as a fine partner to work with for anyone in a similar situation. 5 star experience. We used Southeast Restoration to repair some damage to our house and to convert a bathroom with a tub into a bathroom with a nice walk-in shower. Throughout the process, we were consistently impressed by the professionalism, timeliness, work ethic, neatness, and commitment to do an excellent job. This was true of both Southeast Restoration itself and of all of their trade partners. We could not have been more pleased by the work of Southeast Restoration. For the second time in less than 12 months I had the opportunity to work with Southeast Restoration after 2 rental homes had fires. I wrote a 5-star after the first one because they did a great job both in the quality of their services delivered but also in their communications with me. My background is Project Management, so I know good Project Management when I see it and these guys did a great job coordinating all the services from demolition to rebuilding my homes including even replacement HVAC system in both. The quality of the work was excellent, but what mattered more to me was, when there was an issue, which there will ALWAYS be, they took the initiative to resolve it quickly and always with my satisfaction in mind. Southeast Restoration provided excellent service to our family while we faced a disaster. Southeast Restoration is professional, timely, and competent. Ben with the mitigation team did an outstanding job getting the water out of the house and went above and beyond with dust protection putting up a dust barrier. Ian with the quote team did an amazing job holding the insurance company to a high standard in getting our home back to normal. Dimitri with the project management team executed the job quickly and professionally holding the contractors accountable to high quality work. Overall we are pleased with the results and great customer service.
