I recently purchased a home in Hot Springs Village and hired Southern Floor Co. & Interiors for a full renovation. They truly transformed the entire house exactly to my specifications—the only thing untouched was the stone fireplace. They removed the popcorn ceilings, repaired and textured sheetrock, replaced all baseboards, painted every surface (including the kitchen, bathroom, and utility room cabinets which were not replaced), added LED recessed lighting throughout, and renovated both bathrooms with beautiful floor to ceiling tiled showers, built in seating, safety bars, quartz vanity tops, new fixtures, and more. I went with Shaw vinyl plank flooring in the color Saggio. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and professional. The installation crew (Ryan English and Matt Barnes) was exceptional! The only reason I gave a 4-star is because when I ordered the flooring I was told it should be in within a week to 10 days. I was leaving for 2 weeks so I wanted to make sure the construction crew would have everything ready so the flooring crew wouldn’t have to wait on them. Two weeks after ordering, we checked the status of the flooring and were told it normally takes 3-4 weeks to get the order in. The flooring finally arrived 4 weeks after ordering. Southern Floors did an excellent job from beginning to completion. Tom helped me navigate insurance and the crew did an outstanding job. The work included a new cabinet that needed to match existing cabinets (they did it!) and replacing ALL the hardwood flooring. Shout out to David and his team for a job well done along with going the extra mile with clean-up.
