Southern Oregon Compost LLC

I wish I hadn't have ordered their manure. Every year I order manure from Mr. Wycherley. I've had a successful garden so much that I've been able to sell at the farmers market. I raise flowers and food. Mr. Wycherley is no longer delivering to the Illinois valley. I bought Southern Oregon compost product. I am devastated. My cucumbers are stunted. There's patches of grass that just died that had some of the manure on it. They assured me that it was composted for 2 years. This is not accurate. I don't know what they're putting in it. It cost me over $400 to have it delivered. That's a lot of money for a small farm like ours. I'm watching my stuff, struggle and fade and even die. Even my little flower beds in the back of the house are yellowing and dying. The plants that were not given this

I’ve been a loyal customer at Southern Oregon Compost for years and have spent thousands of dollars here, but after my last visit I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back. The woman who helped me was extremely rude and disrespectful. She told me I had arrived “too late,” which she said was the reason she was upset — but when I left, it wasn’t even 3pm, their posted closing time. I’ve never been treated this way here before, and it was frustrating and disappointing. For a business I’ve supported for so long, I expected far better customer service.

Raised bed soil and compost is poor quality. Lots of charred wood chips, clay chunks and even found some random plastic and rubber. The compost is immature and robbing the soil of nitrogen. When delivered it looked great but after using it in multiple raised garden beds, I would not recommend.

Filled my new raised beds (with good drainage, no bottoms) with the raised bed soil. Normally I'm a pretty good gardener, and usually new soil/proper fertilizing/watering does the trick for a great garden......NOT with this soil. Will never get their products again. When looking at other reviews recently, I see others have had the same issue. Bummer.

Please keep your website up-to-date so that customers that are trying to be loyal to a small local business, don't waste a thirty minute drive to get turned away:)
