SP+ Parking

I think that if you’re an owner of a public access parking lot and your service is to provide parking space, that you should also have the responsibility to clean your property of the broken glass everywhere that blankets the lot. You should also have cameras and some sort of safeguards, otherwise why are you charging for parking spaces? Aside from windows being smashed on the regular in Oakland and the city officials having gotten powerless to do anything about it, this particular parking space is highly prone to window smashing. It sucks. It’s like come here and get your car window smashed. I'm going to upload photos every time I see broken glass on the ground, as I use this lot almost everyday. (UpdTed 11/10/22)

I parked my car for about three hours and returned to find my window shattered, along with the car next to mine. No one is there to ensure the cars are safe, and the company takes no responsibility.

DO NOT PARK HERE you are just delivering your car on a plate for thieves. In hindsight I was an idiot to think parking here was a good idea. Paid and displayed my ticket from 5.30pm to 10.30pm - obviously they knew I was at the concert (6/4/24) in the Fox Theater.. I didn't notice the break in until I got home!

Like others said, I wish I saw the reviews before parking here. In broad daylight, we were only parked here for <1hr for dinner and came back to our car being broken into and our bags gone. It's next to the theater and some decent apartments so first impression isn't all bad, but don't be fooled. No security cameras, no security what so ever.

Park here when bringing my kids to the Oakland Ice Center. Filled with trash, used blunts, empty alcohol bottles, condoms. Super fun to navigate and explain social responsibility to my kids. Thanks for the opportunity.
