Spagnolo Tile

DO NOT HIRE Mike or anyone associated with Spagnolo Tile or you will regret it - He did a terrible job and took longer than expected, then ghosted when asked to come back and fix what he did wrong. Pictures from Mike Spagnolo's work a decade or so ago looked great, but sadly not at all like his actual recent work. First he didn't bring enough materials and said he'd come back. Came back to finish the job (and get paid) but used the wrong color materials to finish the job, so the floor is blotchy in different areas throughout. His tile cutting skills were also not the best, with uneven spacing in highly visible areas. Tried reaching out multiple times so he'd fix it, but Mike Spagnolo ghosted us. The guy is a joke completely lacking in professionalism and so is his work.

We hired Mike to install a completely marble tile bathroom and to be frank everything he installed was done incorrectly. While we are trying to salvage the floor we literally had to rip out a shower that he partially completed because the manufacturer stated it did not meet industry standards. I would not hire Mike again as he overstated his ability and either did not know how to do the work or chose to take shortcuts. We had to buy the tile again and hire a second contractor to do it over. I trusted him and it cost me thousands of dollars.

We have had Mike back several times for various tile projects because he always does such great work. He is professional and quick. I have recommended Mike's work to several friends, without hesitation.

I needed tile installed in my kitchen, which was completely empty and ripped down to the subfloor. The tile needed to transition nicely between pre-finished hardwood flooring in two sides and be as level and smooth as possible. Echoing another reviewer, he overstated his ability and his service agreement. Some of the tiles are very uneven and the grout is cracking and pin holing. He said a few times, “I stand behind my work so if anything goes wrong give me a call.” Don’t listen to him. He is lying. He will ghost you. I’ve sent him numerous texts with photos showing the issues with zero responses. He also took a bag of thinset I personally paid for without leaving money for it. Mike and his team did a great job in my home. They tiled my kitchen floor and backsplash , foyer area, two of my bathrooms and shower. He stands behind his work , and has a great talent ! Personable and fair pricing as well.
