My wife and I always wanted a log cabin on the river. We found the perfect spot in WV and then — fortunately — we found the perfect contractor. Steve Speck (of Speck Contracting) is the real deal. He is professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. His team is the same. They built the most amazing cabin for us, came up with creative ways to save money, and they listened/communicated throughout the project. I’ve worked with a number of contractors over the years, and Steve and his team are at the top of the list. (And they handle small projects too.
