In my case, he did not appear familiar with newer-model appliances and relied on guesswork rather than diagnostic testing. He requested payment in advance, including through Zelle, and the payment was sent under a different name than the business, which made me uncomfortable. He showed up only once and was unable to fix the refrigerator. He also brought the wrong dishwasher part, despite having taken a photo of the broken part during the estimate. He promised to return with the correct parts but continued canceling appointments with various excuses (car trouble, too busy, parts not delivered, someone else was sent but didn’t show). I had a great experience with Speechless Appliance Repair when my refrigerator stopped working. Rafael quickly identified the problem, replaced the board and repaired the line to the compressor. What could have been a costly replacement turned into a simple and effective repair. He was professional, courteous, and finished the job quickly. My refrigerator works perfectly now, and I truly appreciate his honesty and reliable service.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. This company and Rafael himself is a total scam. I wish I saw the reviews before I went through with them. Rafael came to our home, looked at our dryer and quoted us $400 for parts, $100 for labor, and stated we would have a warranty from then on out. We agreed, and he asked for payment on the spot. We paid, then had issues with him coming at the time he said he’d come. He would no show, or reschedule. Eventually he fixed it, but it broke again 2 weeks later. Because it was under “warranty”, he agreed to replace the part. Again, we had issues with him showing. He no showed, and when he finally showed he was late. This part also broke about a month later.
