St. Augustine

St Augustine is full of history. The historic city is full of unique architecture. If you plan on visiting know that parking in the historic area is a challenge so if remote park and rides are operating definitely use them. The City offers this service on and off, especially during special events. Go online and make plans before you go including tours and restaurants. Both usually have extended wait times. Knowing where you want to go and want you want to do then making the necessary plans and reservations can eliminate a lot of waiting and disappointment. Overall a great place to visit.

The best kept secret in Florida! Come visit the oldest city in the U.S. The city is covered in Christmas lights during the holiday season too! Take a horse drawn carriage ride through the city, visit the Fort, Old Town, and Ripleys....a perfect getaway location anytime of the year!

Took a horse drawn carriage ride through town to see the lights. Beers are pre-ride, wife had bottle of wine for the ride. St. Augustine is magical at Christmas! Always a must do every season.

Great rates, plenty of parking available, if your not staying in St. Augustine and haven't parking at your disposal this is the best option IMO... The Visitors Center is next door with a great gift shop and places to buy a Trolley ticket, which we highly recommend for the convenience of seeing the complete city at your pace with the option of having the hop on and off privileges all day long... We were caught in a terrible downpour and the company sent Shuttle busses to find and pick riders up!

Nice and convenient. However the rate is now $20 to park during the day which is ridiculous. Better deal after 5:00 when it drops to $5.
