We bought an older house last year and knew the AC unit would need to be changed. A friend of mine recommended I call Stanley Cooper to get a quote on a new unit. They were very clear on what my options were and the cost differences between standard ac or to upgrade to a heat pump/AC unit. I felt the pricing was fair and their technicians were knowledgeable and professional. The work they did to install the new heat pump/AC unit and A coil was done neatly and efficiently. Scheduling with the service director (Tim G.) was a great experience as well. He answered any questions I had before and after the install and even sent a tech out to make some minor adjustments to our thermostat 6 months later during the winter season. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! Long story here… My last HVAC system went out in the summer of 2024. My wife was pregnant and it was a very hot summer so we needed to find a company to install a new system quickly. Unfortunately we chose Stanley Cooper. They came out relatively quickly and installed the system on a Thursday. The first sign of trouble was that the system malfunctioned and stopped working the very next day. Remember this is in the middle of summer where it was over 90 degrees on a second floor condo with a pregnant wife. We immediately called Stanley cooper begging for someone to come out and take a look at the system before the weekend so we didn’t have to sit in a 90 degree + condo for a whole weekend. Technician Paul came out on one days notice to replace our hot water heater. Very professional, quick installation and extremely courteous. We found SWC's price to be very competitive. Would high recommend their services.

**BEWARE** Shady, unethical and poor quality. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere. We hired this company to fix two separate issues with our mini-split system: a lack of cool air and a leaky condensation pipe. On the first visit, the technician didn't fully fix the lack of cool air problem (we were told the coolant level was mildly low); only half of our units were working. He assured us all the units were fixed and some just needed more time. We were told to call back if they didn't work after an hour. After running the units all day with no improvement, we called back, and the same technician returned. During the second visit, the technician initially claimed he didn't do anything, then slipped and admitted he added more coolant. He quickly corrected himself, saying the units had s

We have used Stanley Cooper exclusively for years for residential mechanical services and plumbing, and they've always met our needs at a high level. Even more important, today we had a heating issue that after inspection by one of their own service technicians, they determined was likely caused inadvertently by one of their own responders during an earlier annual maintenance. They addressed and fixed the issue immediately, and owned the issue with no questions asked and no charges. Their fees may not be the lowest around, but we think they're worth every penny.
