Oscar and his guys did a bad job on my pool deck, after a month, I noticed yellow stains all over, called him several times and all I got were excuses, kept stalling about him stopping and sending his crew to fix it but 4 months later and nothing. 8 months later, pavers are starting to shift. Also, I got the pool refinished and that job was also poorly done, sooo needless to say, not happy with the outcome after 20k spent. I also noticed I gave a one star review, yet on the page, it shows a 5 star, not sure how that happened!

Oscar & Star Island Concrete Design have done an amazing job on my paver concrete driveway. They had the best prices and they did an awesome job on my driveway. For a very small fee, they even re-inforced the edges with additional concrete to ensure the driveway doesn't slip from its place for many years to come. They are honest and very reliable. THE BEST!!

GEORGE made an estimate appointment at 3. Never showed or called or texted as if my time were unimportant. I had to text him to find out where he was. When I told him I no longer needed him and hired the guy that did show up, he said to me, "I am so glad I am not that guy." Totally unprofessional, rude and unnecessary.

Met,Hired George 11/01/24.I Provided house Survey.Deposit $2625 charged 10/30/24.Asked if job could be done b4 Oct 11th.Said he'll get on job right away.Will be at City Hall tomorrow.It is now END OF JAN 2025,I went to city to get truth.Oct 16th permit review application submit,Janis,$50.Oct 17th both Engineering & Zoning reject,missing Impervious Drainage Calculations,ROW Permit & max.width of driveway can't exceed 30% of lot & confirm double driveway will not exceed 18ft.Oct 24th by email George is notified of rejection,needs corrections.Nov 12th,George submits corrections to Manny,reviewer.(WAITS till Dec 10th for Zoning corrections to Andrea.WHY HE WAIT A MONTH?WHY WAS I NOT UPDATED?WHY WAS I NOT TOLD it's $1k more to hire ENGINEER from beginning. HE'S GOT 25 YRS EXPERIENCE,kept tellin
