Statesboro Utility Billing

Turned off my relatives water even though i paid it in person this week and even asked was it okay and the blonde clerk with glasses on the left end said it was okay. They are incompetent rip offs that make plenty of profit on the turn offs. Cant add or subtract either (past experience). I wonder about that office, needs to be sued.

I paid my water bill late due to being in the hospital. I paid it before they came to turn it off, I was told that a 75$ fee was added to reconnect my service and I told the lady which was rude to me that my water was still on I literally just left home. She then said well you will still be charged 75$ as a late fee! At this point I’m confused like is it a late fee or a reconnect fee?? Long story short they lied and refused to take the 75$ fee off my bill. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told she was not there and if I didn’t pay the fee by Monday she was gonna send someone to cut my services off!!! I even showed the teller my discharge papers. I was told it’s due the same time every month, I’m a single mom and just want to know who thinks of bills when they are sick and admitted

If I can give -5 stars I will, The employees that work for this office is the most rude and mean individuals, I have ever dealt with in my life, and the website is worse,I set up a draft date for my bill to come out of my account and they still cut my water off, I get off work at 5pm and they close at 5pm, so me and my family had to go without water, because of the company wrong doing,when I call the next day to talk to them the lady I spoke with was so rude and just demanded money my bill is normally $75.00 but she told me that I had to pay $159.00 to get my water cut back on so I pay it because me and my family can not live without water right , I ask her about the website service she stated that they have no control over the website, I ask if I can cancel the draft that I had set up sh

Bill was paid morning of cut off before anyone came to disconnect and was still charged a $75 fee. Did this twice. Think the definition of a disconnect fee needs to be looked up
