Steppingstones Masonry

Steppingstones Masonry recently performed chimney repairs on my 1950's chimney. They removed all the bricks and liners to below the roofline and replaced all bricks and liners. I would highly recommend them for any Masonry work!!! They were able to get the mortar and brickwork to perfectly match the remainder of the chimney. The owners and crew are courteous, professional and keep the worksite clean. I cannot say enough good things about Steppingstones Masonry.

For our house rebuild in Portsmouth, NH Steppingstones Masonry built 4 new Rumford fireplaces - two with fireplace cranes - for us as well as a full restoration of the existing early 1800's Rumford fireplace with a bake oven located in the living room. The work was exemplary with the 4 new fireplaces matching the look and build of the 1800's fireplace restoration. Four of the 5 fireplaces have a chimney top damper and both chimneys were flashed beautifully in copper. I highly recommend using Steppingstones for any and all stonework including period restoration work.

Steppingstones does great work. In October 2024, they repaired our 211 year old chimney in Portsmouth, NH. Unlike many masons, these fellows understand historic buildings. We highly recommend them.
