I feel deceived, they said I should pay them the final amount even though the job wasn’t done, and that they would return and keep working the project. They came back but the scope of the work shrank radically. I wish I hadn’t ever hired them.

We had our gunite pool and cement deck removed from our back yard by Stevens Excavating Co. We chose this company after talking to three other excavating companies. Mark struck my wife and I as being an honest person and competent excavator who could do the job we wanted. There was not a lot of room for his heavy equipment to get into our back yard. But he did it. After the job was done, he cleaned up and graded everything that needed to be graded, and then seeded. It was a job well done. We would highly recommend this company. He did exactly what he promised to do and then some.

I was very happy with Stevens Excavating Co and how my driveway was completed in a timely, professional manner. Everyone on Stevens Excavating team knew exactly what their job was and they all worked impressively well together. I am a plant lover. I was impressed how the guys asked me if they could dig some of my flowers up so they would not be destroyed in the midst of their work. The whole job was completed in a careful, methodic, and timely manner. They didn’t miss a beat and some of the added extra thoughts that they materialized were a gift. Very impressed when a contractor is on time. Mark and his crew worked hard to remove an old inground swimming pool. The pool was in an area, that made it very difficult to bring in fill, which created extra work for them. The last day the loam needed to be spread, and grass seed put down. With rain in the forcast, Mark was here at 7am to complete the job. Very pleased with Mark and his team, and highly recommend them.

We recently called Stevens Excavating to fill in our 20x42 inground pool. Within 4 days, it was removed and filled in beyond our expectations.
