I wish I could give Steve’s Carpet Barn negative stars! I purchase 54 yards of carpet from them, wanting to support local business and all. At the time of purchase (early July, 2022) I told them I was unsure of my install date, but it would be later in the month. Mindy said no problem at all just let us know. And was happy to take my payment. Thursday, July 21 I began trying to contact the store to arrange pick up. Seemed strange that all day no one answered.(I mean check the published hours on their website) Same on Friday. My installers are coming Monday then movers coming Wednesday, so I really need my carpet, right? I was certain a 4 day lead time should be plenty of time, sounds reasonable, they are a retail store. Well what do you know? I go down to the store to try and talk

The carpet is incredibly soft, they got the installation in so fast, and the price was very reasonable. The only thing I think they could work on is communication. Our carpet was delayed in shipping, but we didn’t hear from them. But they were prompt when we called asking for details. I would still highly recommend them, especially since in turn we asked them to delay installations twice and they were so kind and understanding. We would use them in the future.

After having a bad experience with Lowes and Home Depot, we went to Steve's Carpet Barn. We were already behind schedule after wasting time with the national retailers, but the staff at Steve's Carpet Barn said they would help in any way they could. Our carpet arrived quickly and they installed it the same day it arrived. I was able to get a much higher quality carpet, for less money, and quicker installation. Everyone was great to work with, and we love our new carpet...looks like a new home. Would definitely use them again! Great local, family run business! Thank you!

We have used them twice now. Once in our home and once in our in-laws home. Both times we have had a wonderful experience. Reception was super kind and very helpful. They had a ton of carpet in stock and plenty you could order in. They were even very accommodating to our unique situation and install timeframe. I will be back if I need more carpet for sure.
