Stewart Painting

This company is not very helpful when it comes to communication. Had the exterior of my house painted. 1st off the carpenter missed replacement of 2 small boards. When I reached out to Stewart's they sent me another invoice for $900 to come back and replace after I already paid $1650. To have the work done. I ended up replacing them myself. Then the painters came. They did a half fast job sanding and scraping so the finished job looks horrible. Lots of overspray on the foundation, and a few drops here. It's been a week since they painted and the its bubbling up in places. They came back to fix it but didn't remedy the bubbles. I asked for advice on the paint and was told to go to Sherwin Williams and figure it out. The office emailed me to say they needed a sheen... I had no idea what that

We hired Stewart Painting to redo the interior of our entire first floor including cabinetry. This entailed both the carpentry and painting divisions. The finished project exceeded our expectations. The crew of each division were professional, friendly, extremely communicative and highly skilled. Aided by the staff in the scheduling and the accounts receiveable departments our entire project was completed flawlessly and on time. The teams provided daily progress pictures as we were not in residence while the work was being done. We had the ability to write notes on the pictures if we had a question and the teams responded promptly. It has been a most enjoyable experience despite a major overhaul of our home. We highly recommend Stewart Painting.

The painting job was good. The only thing that was disappointing was in our contract it stated that we would get new soft closing hinges installed. I’m no expert and found out after the job was completed the hinges that were installed were not soft close hinges. I reached out via email the same way that I reached out to begin the process asking why they weren’t installed and I heard nothing. I figured they would get back to me because when I did this to begin the process they contacted me the next day, after a week of no contact I ended up purchasing my own soft close hinges and installing them myself. It ended up costing me about $80 and a couple of hours of sweat equity. As you can see in the photos below, the picture with the gray insert in the hinge is a soft close hinge that I install

We originally posted that Tim and Rabi did a good job on the power wash but this is what happened after it rained …. We thought everything was done perfectly. Not long after the powerwashing and painting was done, it rained for 2 days. The powerwashing solution used left remains which washed down the front of our house. We are waiting to hear from Stewart Painting about this problem. It looks terrible and we were unable to rinse the soapy solution off. You might want to take down the Stewart sign left out front until the problem is fixed.

Jeremy and his helpers did an outstanding job replacing trim and window sashes on our home. We had several unique pieces that they went out of their way to replicate. They were professional, neat, and communicated well. We can recommend them without any reservation.
