Stokes Masonry

Very unhappy with the work and deceptive Stokes did a patio and retaining wall that was supposed to be filled with concrete he did not fill the wall with concrete and he messed up the drain in the patio . So the new drain that I bought for the patio drain was supposed to be mounted in the concrete when I got there and looked at it it was a different drain cover and it wasn't even lined up with the pipe in the ground he broke the bottom of the drain to try and make it fit and messed it all up. And when he did the block wall he was short to blocks but he put the covers on the rest of the wall the block covers the top so we couldn't see in the two blocks that were exposed were filled with concrete I drilled holes in the back of the wall every hole I drilled the wall was hollow

We needed a new concrete driveway and sidewalk. Stokes gave us the best price and did a great job. Before calling him we looked at other jobs he did and talked to the home owners. They were all happy! He always showed as scheduled. Many contractors don't. Another reviewer on here said Stokes only takes cash. Not true! I paid by check.

Poor job, Was given a guarantee that the work would last. I had cement work done. The patio cracked straight down the middle. I called stokes and he told me he would come out and take a look at it. He never did and would not return my calls. I paid a large sum of money (He only took cash). Very dissatisfied. Use another company if you want the job done right.

I had my backyard done 10 x 10 patio in 2005 and still looks great!2 years ago he replaced my front steps . I will be using him again for another project this summer.

Tom the owner was great. Came right out, gave a price, got the job and it was fantastic. His crew was great too!
