I hired this company for pond maintenance and shortly after they replaced the water and put back in my goldfish nearly all of them died. I had about 50 goldfish and 30 mosquito fish. All the mosquito fish died and 80% of the goldfish died. I paid $1600 for the maintenance thinking I was providing a better environment for my fish and it killed them. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken. I thought they were professionals and knew to check water quality, pH levels, and all that. I was wrong. Called recently to have them come out to fix pond because air getting into system. They had come out a few months ago for same and charged $350.. but had someone else fix.. did not last long so after few months called .. wanted another $350 to inspect same thing again.. not happy but ok, need to get it fixed. Told me would call back in 30 minutes to schedule. Next day I called to remind and check when someone coming out.. said would call back later today.. two days later called.. same. Few days later left a voicemail. They called back to let me know someone would be coming out Saturday to check out system. Waited only for no one to show up or bother to call. They charged me $350 to come out for an estimate during the last week of June...ok...fine...since then I have contacted them three times if they we're going to send me an estimate. I've gotten one response saying they'll be sending it the following day,.. still nothing. I get it..my $26K project may not be big according to their standards but I guess they don't want my business so I hired Scapes and Stones and they've been much much better to work with. Terrible company, would not recommend under any circumstances. Excessive and preditorial pricing. Charged $350 to come and diagnose and fix (told may be extra cost for parts or additional labor), the representative could not communicate with me (did not speak the same language as me), so I had to communicate through their office administrator who was getting second hand info about the project. Was told need a new pump charged roughly $1100, for the pump and installation. The company told us we needed to be home for installation but instead came into our backyard (whilst we were waiting in the house) and replaced the pump.
