Over the past 4 years we have used Stonewood multiple times for projects of land clearing, leveling, brush and tree removal. I have found Rick fair, honest, creative in solving problems, responsive both during and after each project. With my projects, I have found Rick direct about what services his company can provide and quick to recommend other small business owners in the area that can provide the services he cannot provide to complete the job.

When I had significant troubles with my previous excavator on my own home project, I called a close friend in the construction business. He immediately recommended Stonewood Landshaping. I should have called him in the first place. They showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job, fixing a difficult situation I found myself in. What I particularly appreciated is that they were both knowledgeable and easy to talk with. As a result, the work addressed my challenges perfectly. Honest, competent people! Can you asked for more?

This was a horrible experience. We had an estimate made in late April with a follow-up visit to a week later with pavers to chose from. Everything was set go, we had a signed invoice and contract and put down a $2,000 deposit. The day the work team was supposed to come, the office contacted us and said the guy who was supposed to come out left the company. The owner, Rick Ranchor, was non-responsive for over two weeks. After a series of back and forth messages with the office manager, the owner finally returned the call and told us that there was really no way that the job would be done and that we should go find someone else to do the job. We hired Stonewood Contracting for some grading in our yard as well as a shed foundation. The owner is knowledgeable and upfront, and was mindful of our budget.
