stop and move

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. STOP AND MOVE IS A SCAM. Some (not all) photos below. Every single piece of furniture had an issue, was broken, or unusable anymore. The wife and I had to throw away 2 dressers after paying to have them delivered. The truck driver who brought our stuff dropped off our now broken furniture on the side of the road, half a mile from my apartment. All this after the apartment complex workers told him the truck easily fits. They were supposed to deliver the items into the apartment and rebuild them. That would have been impossible anyway because they lost all the hardware needed to put it back together. If I had recorded how the delivery driver treated me, he would be fired immediately. In Summary: 1.) Had no choice to use them or not. Used a broker who subbed them ou

the worst movers ever!! they destroyed our furniture and STOLE some of my stuff!!! the drivers name was Mohammed and threw all my stuff outside of the storage unit demanding i give them a $500 tip to both delivery guys. They suck at communicating and threaten u if u don’t pay them more than they’re asking. STAY AWAY FROM THEM they should be Sued!!!

Absolutely scam of a company. I'm not sure how these people can go about their lives knowing and intentionally committing fraud. Not only was there no communication on their part, but they sold our contract without our consent not knowledge. We had some random their party deliver our goods because they don't do cross country moves despite fully taking our move ensuring that it was them to deliver. I've filed a complaint with the BBB in NJ and have since disputed this. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Also supposedly the deliverers told us this happened in THEIR (stop and move) storage company. If you lookup the address for stop and move LLC you will find that it's a residence and not a business location. The Tenafly PD is well aware of them but doesn't know how to find them. Copied below is my review of US Standard Moving including my experience with stop and move llc: Notice the vast majority of 5 star reviews (for US Standard) are from people who have only left one review (for this company only), while many 1 star reviews were left by people who have left multiple reviews. While my home was ultimately moved successfully by stop and move llc (after calling my bank, the BBB of NJ, the Tenafly PD, and the NJ Attorney General), the rates quoted upfront by US Standard were not accurate, the promised discount of $1097 was ignored, and the movers that were hired (stop and move llc)

This is the absolute worst moving company and customer service ever!!! Nationwide moving services should be ashamed of even doing business with them! I can't believe we had to associate with them ourselves. Rude and nasty individuals. Be ready to contact and attorney after you deal with them. Most of our prized positions were damaged!
