This company is a scam. Poor quality, unprofessional, liars. Mike will be overpriced, and try to squeeze your for every dollar he can. We specifically requested a 6x6 area for my Shed/storage. What we got was 5'-6" square that it clearly wouldn't fit into. When I asked them about it Mike, danced around it on the phone and tried to find any angle he could to blame us for his "miscommunication". Which would have been fine if he agreed to fix it. We were told that it would be an additional charge to come out because he wasn't making a lot of money on the job. When I said no, he said that he wasn't going to fix it. Story Fence is hands down one of the best companies I have ever done business with. I fell in love with one of the photos on their website, but my yard wasn't quite right for that fence. Mike and Amy worked with us to give us the personalized service my family and I needed to achieve the best aesthetic and function for our property! We could not be happier. Now my kiddos have a safe place to play, we are better neighbors, and our property value has skyrocketed! They were on time everyday until the job was done and the workers cleaned up after themselves. In the end we bough some Adirondack furniture too as a final touch and we can't wait for spring to come around again so we can enjoy our new backyard.

Had them come in last year and install some fencing on my property along with two gates. Shortly after the install the main gate that we use began to stick. My wife got fed up with the gate and reached out to Story to correct the problem. She was told that it was a common issue and wouldn’t be a problem to correct. That was back in March or April. Months later we’re still calling them regularly to come fix the gate. We even sent pics and videos of the issue and were told that they would be out this week to fix it. I laughed when my wife told me that because I knew they weren’t coming, even though they’re located in the same town as us. Disappointed that Story Fence wouldn't come out to give me a quote. Lady on the phone straight up lied to me when she told me that Lynn was out of their service area. I know it's a lie because it says on their website "Story Fence has been building quality fences in Hamilton, Wenham, Manchester, Gloucester, Rockport, Beverly, Peabody, Ipswich, Essex, Lynn, Salem, Marblehead, Swampscott and Andover for over 34 years." She said they were to busy for my small job. Hmm.. OK well I guess I'll take my money elsewhere. Leaving one star because it won't let me leave 0. I'll be sure to let others know how they value their potential customers.

Best quality I’ve probably ever seen. Installation was quick and easy and it was very reasonably priced. Lady on the phone was very helpful, patient, and informative.
