We used Structural Systems Hawaii to lift and stabilize our house foundation on Kalaheo Hillside in Kailua. We ultimately had 15 Micropiles installed, lifted the house, had Uretek foam injected to fill the gaps under the foundation where it had been lifted, and injected Condor clay stabilizer under the house to halt the movement of the clay soil. Although they do huge commercial jobs, it was a huge and expensive job for us yet they treated us with as much priority and importance as any of their jobs. They did a great job and I would highly recommend all of the things they did and this company for this kind of work. Damien, President of SSI, came to our home to do an initial assessment then had their engineers evaluate the soil conditions and put together a comprehensive and well thought out analysis to arrest further slippage, contain the retaining walls in place, and solidify the steep slope. Structural Systems Inc. did an excellent job is stabilizing my home. From start to finish, they provided great service and the professionalism of Damien, President of SSI and his crew is unbeatable. The back fill that was used on the retaining wall in the back of my home started to settle causing the foundation of my house to shift. During the initial assessment meeting, Damien explained what was happening to the house, physically showed me the areas of concern, and explained what steps he was planned to take to strengthen the foundation. Structural Systems did a great job of filling hole in a slab above my shower. The slab was damaged when the unit above me replaced their shower pan but did not replace the concrete. Structural Systems managed to fill the hole from below without removing the shower pan from above. Jeff and Mike were great to work with. Very friendly, professional, and provides great service! Only reason I can't say good value is because the owner of the unit above paid the bill.
