Summerill definitely earned a 5 star review. They did an excellent job and provided top notch service from the initial call through the end of the project. The communication was fantastic and they went out of their way to ensure all questions were answered in detail. They repaved a section of our driveway and replaced a large portion of it with a cement ribbon drive, added a cement slab and they laid grass seed. We told them we planned to install temporary fencing to keep our dogs out of the seeded area and they even took care of that for us. The job was done exactly as planned and the workmanship is beyond what I had expected. They finished up less than a week ago and we're already planning to use them for another project. They're really excellent.

Very professional contractor. Workmanship is top notch which owner was there to oversee and help prepare and install for pour. Everything was outlined in proposal and delivered from start to finish. Would be glad to refer to anyone in need of a quality job. Price was very fair for the quality product installed. Showed up for estimate when he said, showed up to prepare sidewalk and placed and finished when he said he would. I was impressed with communication throughout. Thanks Jim and crew.

I rarely write reviews so folks pay attention when I do. I originally reached out to Jim in the pandemic to redo my entire garage concrete slab about 400-500 sq feet. He came out and discussed the job and all the details of the job like no other contractor that I’ve ever worked within the past. At the time I decided to wait due to a sewer pipe emergency and a garage foundation issues. Fast forward a few years later, I reach out to Jim again in the winter of 2025.. He promptly came out and redid the estimate with the caveat that the job wouildn’t begin until the summer. The 2025 Summer rolls around and it’s brutally hot and humid however his team shows up early and demos the garage within a day or two and sets ups the forms and rebar in the garage which was to be poured by the end of

I found Summerill Asphalt and Concrete through a Google search. I was looking for a local contractor to create a new driveway and update the walkways for my home. Frank was my main contact, and he did a great job explaining every detail to me about the project and what the different options were to create the driveway. He explained how the different layers were going to be applied and went through the whole process. He even arranged for all the permitting. I also tried Sam the Concrete Man. It was a very quick call, little consulting, seemed more interested in creating the quote than providing the service. I did not feel confident after that sales call.
