I must disagree with critics of the live attendant: the one I was lucky enough to speak to, JOHANNES (like "Johannesburg" but I'm not sure of the spelling) was a-MAZ-ing! With my spouse awaiting surgery and the hospital schedules backed up, I was looking at multiple return visits to park here on multiple days, and freaking out a little over that hourly cost (starting $10.00 an hour and going up to $28 or more a day?!?). Johannes answered all my questions cheerfully and kindly, then took the time to show me how the ticket machine works, how to purchase and use a multi-day/multi-visit ticket (a more manageable $30. for a 3-day pass), and explained what I should do if there were any problems using my ticket. It is not okay to charge a premium for parking when a Medi-Cal patient has a mandatory health appointment. They could have parking waived easily, but simply choose not to because they're greedy and the $10/h fee shows that.

This parking garage is a complete rip off. Very sad to be chargrd $10.00 hr for a very dirty inadequate parking facility. I wouldn't even give it a one star. Whoever owns it should be ashamed of being so greedy. Bad reflection on the Hospital.

Terrible! Parking s/b FREE for those visiting loved ones in hospital. If not, at least have an attendant present during business hours. Entry to garage was LOCKED after hours; had to enter when another car exited and gate lifted. Then machine to pay was glitchy; terrible wait time before live attendant accepted payment. Overall, POOR parking service. RATING: ZERO😡.

Parking costs $10 an hour! YIKESSSSS!!!!!! This isn’t NYC, this is Oakland. There’s much cheaper parking nearby, definitely would not recommend here.
