We had our house outfitted with new Sunrise windows and sliding patio door in 2018. Since then we've had multiple issues including the patio door not locking, two different windows leaking (one was inside of a sealed pane), and a another window with a pane that developed a stress crack. The service has been horrendously slow on all issues. Especially the most recent one with the stress crack. I strongly recommend anyone evaluating them move along to a competitor.

We purchased Sunrise Restoration Windows (Double Hung) in June 2020. Our purchase was based on the advertised thermal efficiency claims. Unfortunately our windows are not efficient as advertised. The upper window center frame piece is not insulated. This lack of insulation results in a large temperature difference which can be felt with your bare hands. In the winter time this cold seam between the upper and lower window frames causes the formation of condensate and in the summer you can feel the heat radiating inward. This is a product design flaw and should have been prevented by proper testing. I would like to know like to know if SUNRISE has a remedy for this problem? Sunrise Windows (Now owned by MI Windows) We had a new bay window installed. Within 6 months, the inside oak started to swell and discolor due to water intrusion. The rep for them was very difficult to reach and get to show up. We spent several months trying to get a resolution and only after a month with the technical department did they agree to replace the window assembly. Their defect not the installers. Now they are telling me no labor will be covered on their defective window. We did have some sweating which they explained away and I agree that was acceptable, but the poor workmanship is NOT acceptable. We recently purchased Sunrise's Noise Reducing Picture Window through Toledo Door & Window, specifically for its advertised sound-reducing capabilities and REGRET IT! Sunrise’s marketing materials clearly state that this window “eliminates unwanted sounds,” including traffic noise, with no disclaimers or fine print. Toledo Door & Window visited our home and saw firsthand that we live on a very busy, high-traffic street, and they made no mention of any conditions on this feature.
