Supreme Remodeling and Design

Project: Build entertainment center in family room. Remove existing fireplace. Fairly easy project. Estimated time to complete project: 2 weeks. We decided to hire a contractor for this project because I didn't want to take on the stress of a project as I did when we remodeled the kitchen. The reasons for taking away 3 starts. 1)This simple project took 3 months. 2) A coaxial outlet was supposed to be moved from one wall to another wall according to the contract. 1 month into the project, they said they cannot move the outlet. I ended up hiring another company to move the outlet. 3)Communication was terrible. Numerous calls and text messages went unanswered. Especially after payments were made. I was taking quotes for a fence reconstruction job. Supreme Remodeling sent a project manager. I showed him the job. He proceeded to measure the fence. (Incorrectly I might add.) He then asked if I was going to provide the materials. Seriously?! Every other company I have spoken to provides the fencing material. I told him that I expected his company to provide materials. He goes on to provide me a very high "labor only" quote, followed by asking me to make a decision today. I told him that I had 2 more quotes coming in the next few days so I would NOT be making a decision today. He tries more pressure by telling me that he can "save [me] a lot of money" if I am "ready to decide." I repeat myself about NOT making a decision today. I then told him that his quote was already over my

FTC violation and deceptive practices. They have been making spam calls to random people without permission. They completely disregarded do not call registry. I even asked them to stop contacting me but they failed to comply. Not just that, in their calls, they having been intentionally misstating their business name so they cannot be tracked.

We decided to give it a try to see what the end to end experience is really like as we did remodeling ourselves before and it was exhausting to be your own general contractor. In short, we think it's an okay experience with Supreme Remodeling and Design but I cannot justify everything we paid for. The people we work with are very nice and easy to communicate with at the start, and we do not pay everything upfront which is nice to do (and you shouldn't pay everything before any work done anyways). They also offer finance options if needed tho we didn't use. The rating here is a mix of comparing with DIY and their attitudes. Don't get me wrong, the end results look very good, but they don't pay all detailed attentions. I suggest if you work with them, expect to pay the same amount of attenti

I have not personally used this company but the multiple telemarketing phone calls a day are a bit ridiculous. I never heard of this company before I started getting these calls and now won't consider them if I ever do need anything done to my house. I have asked to be removed from their call list yet I still get calls... Not a good way to do business in my opinion
