Sutherlands

Always end up needing something on the fly in the oil field, Sutherlands usually has what I need. The one thing that definitely keeps me coming back, though is my guy who works there, Ray. Ray is always willing to help me out, And goes above and beyond when it comes to helping me find things quickly. He has saved me so much time and effort when it comes to getting in and out fast. I really appreciate him. He is the only reason I go there over any other hardware store. People have asked me why I don't go to lowe's or home depot or ace hardware, and my only reply is because they do not have a "Ray". Highly recommend this hardware store If you hate searching and looking for things, go here and just ask for Ray . He'll help you out and get you on your way.

Don't expect any tangible help unless Ray is there. The young employees are rude, don't know where anything is, and walk off in the middle of "helping" to play on their walkies or throw balls around.

Was in there today. A gentleman named Mike helped us get pipe load in the truck for us and tape down. Very friendly and helpful.

NO VETERAN DISCOUNTS - It is a very nice store to have in the Sweetwater & Nolan County and will be very helpful for locals and businesses a like. I gave it a 3-Star because they do not give Veteran discounts like Lowe's & Home Depot. West Texas is home to a large number of Veterans spread throughout 11 counties. Giving them a discount is giving them an incentive to shop in Sweetwater and not drive all the way to Abilene to get Vet discounts. Something to think about if you are Veteran shopping here. :)

They have a great staff, however sometimes they are out of the item that I need.
