Swartz Mulch

We ordered leaf compost from Swartz for my fourteen flower beds. I have been looking for a good quality compost for the last several years without success. This fall I found Swartz, and this compost is fantastic! It is finely shredded, aged and rich. I can’t wait to see the beautiful flowers that result from such quality composting over the winter.

Received a horrendous batch of topsoil from these folks. Absolutely loaded with crabgrass and other weeds. I bought the topsoil through Grandmas Garden, who bought it from Swartz. Jerry, the head landscaper at Grandmas said he has had several bad yards of soils from them and several complaints. Grandmas refunded my money and when I called Swartz simply to let them know about my experience, I was met with a snooty and condescending woman that had absolutely no interest in their sub-par product performance. Update: Katrina from Swartz called me the next day and offered a sincere apology and the promise of a better training protocol for employees. That’s all I can ask from a company - when a mistake is made, own it and remedy it. Katrina did so and offered an tour of their product in the fut

I live in Germantown but make the drive to Swartz for quality mulch. Very seldom do I find plastics or rocks and such in the mulch.

Outstanding service from the office staff to the drivers. They were great every step of the way. Jordan was very helpful in determining what i needed once i described what i was trying to accomplish. The delivery driver Mike was amazing. His skill at getting that truck between my fence post and garage.....surgeon like precision. He even helped me flatten out the gravel and rock delivered. Super nice people. Excellent pricing. They will get my repeat business!

Good prices and fast delivery on mulch. I took off one star for quality. Mulch had some large chunks and quite a bit of dust and some debris. Not a big deal but this was ordered specifically for under a play set.
