Mike Sweeney and his team were fantastic to work with from start to finish. We moved into a house that had an old pool that was beyond repair, and we decided to get rid of it. Sweeney and his team took care of removing the water, demo, fill and regrading the yard (we had flooding issues due to the grade of the yard with the pool). He also offered sod and hydroseeding. With all the rain this summer, we have been able to put the yard to the test, and we can honestly say the regrading has helped immensely. We are very impressed with his team and quality of work. Highly recommend!

Sweeney Excavating did an amazing job on a full yard transformation at my home. They prepped the entire property, installed four gravel parking spaces with cobbled edges, two paved walkways, a back patio for our outdoor shower and a firepit with patio. Mike and his team were punctual, honest, respectful (no loud music or swearing) and knowledgeable. Prices were fair and work was outstanding. Mike himself excels at communicating project status, makes thoughtful suggestions and stands behind his work 100%. I would not hesitate to hire him again and would proudly recommend him to family and friends.

They installed a new septic and did a great job. They kept the yard clean and even exceeded expectations, finishing the project in less time than anticipated. His employees were nice and very easy to deal with. Mike worked with me on a small change and dealt with the town and engineers, taking the proper channels, to make sure that the everything was up to code and done correctly. I cannot say enough good things about Sweeney Excavation. We sold our home and were re-locating out of state. When Title V inspection was done, our septic system failed. Since we had an offer in on a new home that was contingent on the sale of our property, we had to get the system repaired ASAP. Of all the contractors we reached out to, Sweeney Excavation was the most responsive, and informative. Mike Sweeney was very involved in the process from start to finish. Accepting calls on evening, weekends, or whenever we needed answers. The sale of our property was contingent on the septic being replaced. Once again, Sweeney Excavation did an excellent job fixing a portion of our sea wall. They are wonderful to work with and they keep in close communication with you before, during and after the job is completed. When questions or concerns are raised they quickly address them and go the distance to satisfy the customer. I highly recommend them.
