Sylvan Brandt Antique Flooring

We can’t say enough positive things about Sylvan Brandt and the kindness and professional knowledge of folks who work there. We’ve purchased reclaimed wood and recycled tin for flooring and ceiling projects. Tyler was great with joining us as we brainstormed how to use what we found, then helping us pick out what we needed, processing it then holding the material until we were ready to complete the projects. Even in the midst of the hardships created by last year’s flood and fire, he still got our most recent order processed and delivered it to us in MA:) We can’t recommend him and his team highly enough!

So I have an old house that needed boards replaced on the porch. Boards at Home Depot are only 1/2" thick and I needed 1" thick boards. Tyler cut boards to the size I needed and even matched up the tongue and groove for a perfect fit! Highly recommend this place if you have old flooring and need boards to match up! 👍👍 Update: added a photo of finished porch, turned out really nice!

We came up with the idea to make our own dinning room table out of reclaimed wood. We went to Sylvan Brandt and told Tyler our idea. He got some oak planks from a 150 year old barn near Gettysburg and joined them together for us. He even gave us some scrap wood to test out different finishes. Table is awesome.

Great diverse selection of antiques and collectibles! Free water and cookies. Dress for the weather as there’s no A/C though.
