I highly recommend Tacoma Hardwood Floors. Mark and Julie did an amazing job repairing, sanding, staining, and finishing our douglas fir floors. Their quote was very reasonable, and their work was outstanding. There were several issues with our old floors and stairs (they had been previously painted, stained, cracked etc.) and they fixed them all! The floors are beautiful now. They were so easy to work with - we will definitely use them again.

I'm very happy with the end result of my floors that Mark and the crew from Tacoma Hardwood did. Mark made sure we understood the process and was always available by phone with any questions we had along the way. Julie and her son were a great team. I would of given them 5 stars but we had a bit of clean up to wash away and repainting of some areas that the sanding equipment hit. Knowing that would be expected, I'd hire them again. Thank you team for a job well done.

Mark and Julie did a beautiful job restoring our hardwood floors. They removed carpet, refinished the wood that was underneath, installed wood transitions where needed, replaced all baseboard trim to match the rest of our house, even touched up wall paint around baseboards. They are trustworthy people who do great work.

I would recommend Tacoma Hardwood Floor Co. to anyone wanting to refinish their floors. I had our 1950’s hardwood floors refinished about 4 months ago and could not be happier with the results. I wanted to give a true honest review and so I waited a few months to see if I noticed imperfections etc. I can honestly say I love my floors now even more! Julie worked hard and meticulously throughout the entire job. Mark was extremely prompt with giving us the initial bid and worked around our scheduling needs in quick time. The final prices matched the bid exactly. I was concerned about the fumes of Swedish finish Mark recommended (he will do any type of finish requested), but I am so glad we did the Swedish.
