Target

Target is always a solid stop and this visit reminded me why. The store was bright and spotless from the moment I walked in and the staff was friendly without being pushy. I came in just to look around and ended up grabbing some fun dog socks that caught my eye. The aisles were wide and easy to move through and every section looked organized and fully stocked. Checkout was quick and the line moved smoothly. The highlight of this trip was the clearance section which had a ton of options that were actually worth buying instead of just leftover items. Everything was easy to find and the whole shopping experience felt calm and well run.

I just have to give a shoutout to Troy in the returns department at Target. If returning baby shower items without receipts was an Olympic sport, I’d have taken gold… and Troy would have been the patient, kind judge holding up a perfect 10. He has helped me more than once, and every time he’s calm, professional, and somehow makes what could be an awkward or stressful situation feel completely manageable. One visit involved a mountain of baby shower gifts and not nearly enough receipts (mom brain is real 😅), and he handled it like an absolute pro. Thank you for being so helpful and for making returns way less painful than they should be!

Rosa/Rose was so incredible and truly went above and beyond to help me and my cousin during checking out! She had a smile on her face and was so sweet and genuine. She asked us how our day was, if we had a happy new year and you can tell she truly loves her job and the people! She truly deserves the highest recognition and a pay raise! In our entire time living here we’ve never had someone as memorable and kind to us like her! Thank you Rose/Rosa from the Caribbean! You are the best!

Staff is nice, basically everything that isn’t food is stocked pretty nicely. However, I’d say this is a pretty poor excuse of a *grocery* store. Produce is limited (especially healthier/organic options), and is almost always spoiled or nearly spoiled. Pantry items have very limited options in comparison to most other Target stores I’ve been to. I get better deals at Whole Foods for food that is exponentially more fresh. At this point I wish the company would either do better in the grocery department or just become a department store like it seems to be doing already.

Target in Destin is clean, organized, and easy to shop. The staff is nice, and they usually have everything I need. Always a quick, smooth stop when I’m out running errands
