Target

Visited early March 2026 on a Tuesday around 4 PM and found the store not crowded. Shelves were fully stocked from my viewpoint. Staff was friendly to me.

After experiencing what I just experienced, I decided to go look at the reviews, and my experience now makes perfect sense. So I’d never heard or seen this before…. but apparently checkers are not supposed to help customers put stuff in their cart. They just put it at the end of the register and stand there and look at you. Even after I mentioned that I was having equilibrium problems because of one of my ears, nope... that’s all they’re doing. That’s pretty low effort. I went to mention this to one of the managers, and she asked me which cashier, and I said I wasn’t going to call anybody out. However, the aloof attitude of the manager made me realize why this Target is so low effort. At least learn to act like you care about what I’m telling you. That would help you. And the male manage

As a fellow Target employee I love visiting other Targets. And this one deserves a review. From the moment I walked into this store I was stunned. First the size of this store, huge. And not even a Super Target lol. Secondly, the zone and brand throughout the entire store almost had me asking for the store director. I have never seen a Target so pristine!!! I need to know your secrets for my store.

Just left and cashier seemed like she had an attitude that I was purchasing 67 mini deodorants, not knowing they were for bags for the homeless. Not everyone in Sarasota is a millionaire and you should be grateful we aren't using all self checkout and trying to keep cashier's in the workforce. Writing this review only because I noticed the change in her attitude with the woman before me and the man after me, and tossing my bag almost made me snatch it from her hand. About to just take Target off my shopping choice all together. Do better.

The best Target in the Universe. Clean, well stocked, professional and courteous employees; an all-around pleasant shopping experience. A+
