Our water supply froze last night. Can’t drink, bathe or flush!?! Nooo! Right before closing, I called this location and spoke with DEACON. Emergency solution: Insulation tubes, duct tape, and a new shorter hose. We taped it all together and ran the hose underneath the fifth wheel. Woke up this morning with running water! I just have to share my incredible experience at Taylor's Ace Hardware! My wife was on a mission to find a specific audio cable for our son's electric guitar, and after striking out at the big box stores, she decided to give our local hardware store a shot. We were blown away by the level of service and expertise we received. When she walked in, she was greeted by Mr. Taylor (guessing the owner) who was friendly and eager to help. When he learned what we were looking for, he didn't just point us to a shelf; he took the time to understand our needs. He explained that while the adapter he had in stock would work, it might not be the ideal solution. Selection of products that yield highest prices vs other Boerne competitors. Different than other Ace Hardware Stores of past. Greed, poor selection, every engineering to flush maximum profit of the victim customer. Since privately owned, each ACE HARDWARE owner sets the tone. This owner wants to maximize $$ while punishing the customer. Our neighborhood boycotted this store due to greed, poor selection and unfriendly service vs our ACE stores of the past.

I love ace hardware and especially this location. The staff is incredibly friendly! Prices are a little higher, but it is worth it to support a local business.
