After explaining that I was unemployed for the moment, and had just lost my sister and mother who I was caring for. TECO with no compassion added a deposit request of $687, saying that I wasn’t making my payment by the due date. I explained I hadn’t been working, they gave me an extension for the deposit which increases my bill by $52 until it’s been funded. Heartless- I just explained I wasn’t working. Way to kick me while I’m down.
